Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing budgets and tasks, leading internal and external teams, ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle, and serving as a champion for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction. The individual must have experience working with Building Automation Controls.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverable, aligned with client and organization objectives.
· Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to the plan and addressing challenges proactively.
· Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progress.
2. Budget and Task Management
· Create and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
· Track project expenses, monito variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
· Define, assign, and monitor tasks to ensure timely completion while meeting quality standards.
3. Team Leadership (Internal/External)
· Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.
· Manage external partners, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver project requirements.
· Serve as a mentor and motivator for team members, promotion productivity and morale.
4. Quality Control
· Establish and enforce quality standards for all deliverables and processes.
· Conduct regular reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and client expectations.
· Address quality issues promptly, implementing solutions to avoid recurrence.
5. Client Champion
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
· Communicate project status, updates, and changes effectively to clients and stakeholders.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a relevant industry.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana)
· Strong understanding of budget management, task allocation, and resource optimization.
· Knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards.
Leadership & Communication
· Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage divers teams.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
· Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities to handle challenges effectively.
