Golden Valley Memorial Hospital

Control Service Company partnered with Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton, Missouri to modernize critical HVAC infrastructure through a targeted retrofit of outdated pneumatic systems. The project included the replacement of pneumatic valves and actuators on the hospital’s steam heat exchanger and air handling unit, along with a full controller upgrade and installation of a new watertight panel. Using Automated Logic controllers, CSC delivered a more reliable and responsive system designed to support the hospital’s need for stable environmental conditions.

The project involved transitioning legacy pneumatic equipment to modern Automated Logic controls while ensuring both the steam heating system and air handler remained fully operational. CSC replaced failed pneumatic valves, upgraded the primary controller to a newer version, and installed a watertight control panel to protect critical components in a sensitive mechanical environment.
Electrical installation was completed in collaboration with Gary Lancaster of P1 Group, ensuring a coordinated and efficient retrofit.

Because the affected systems served active hospital spaces, the air handler and steam heat exchanger could not go offline during the retrofit. Maintaining stable temperatures was essential for patient comfort and safety, making operational continuity the top priority.
