From May 6–10, we proudly participated in Construction Safety Week 2025. It’s a time to highlight the importance of job site safety. At Control Service Company, safety is more than protocol—it’s how we operate every single day. Our teams work with complex HVAC controls, electrical components, and integrated technologies. These demand a disciplined, safety-first approach. That’s why this week, we turned the spotlight on safety practices tailored to building automation.

Construction Safety Week at Control Service Company
Each day, we shared safety tips across our teams. These reminders reinforced habits that protect both our people and our projects. We don’t stop at reminders. Safety training remains a core part of what we do. In fact, we invest heavily in education. Our technicians stay up to date on trends, tools, and safety standards. This not only protects them—it strengthens the quality of the systems we install.
Equipment matters too. During the week, we reviewed critical gear like hard hats, fall protection, gloves, and eyewear. These aren’t just checkboxes—they’re lifesaving tools. When used properly, they make our work safer and more efficient.
What We’re Doing
To keep things engaging, we hosted a safety knowledge challenge. Congratulations to our quiz and raffle winners! We wrapped up the week with a happy hour where teams could celebrate our commitment to a safer workplace. Behind the scenes, crews worked hard to implement the safety practices that define CSC job sites. On social media, we shared important safety stats from OSHA. For example, falls alone cause over 300 deaths and 11,000 injuries each year. In total, the construction industry sees around 750 deaths and 1.3 million injuries annually.
These numbers are more than statistics—they’re reminders of what’s at stake. Taking time to focus on safety may be the difference between life and death. At CSC, safety isn’t just a weeklong initiative—it’s part of our culture. We publish weekly safety briefings to keep it top of mind year-round. Safety drives how we hire, how we train, and how we deliver value. It shapes how we show up for each other and for our clients. As a leader in custom BAS solutions, our foundation is built on responsibility, innovation, and care. Every day, we keep safety at the core of our operations.
Together, we’re building safer systems, stronger teams, and better outcomes.
