AdventHealth South Overland Park Completes Fifth Floor Expansion
AdventHealth South Overland Park has completed the expansion of its fifth floor, now dedicated to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This expansion adds 12 PCU rooms and six larger ICU rooms for higher acuity care. The fourth floor is now exclusively for medical surgical and rehabilitation services, with six additional rooms. This expansion aims to better serve patient needs and accommodate future growth. The hospital also recently expanded its Birth Center, doubling its size to include 15 state-of-the-art suites and 24/7 OBGYN coverage.
