Control Service Company Supports Missouri School Facilities at 2026 MSPMA Annual Conference

CSC returns as a Sporting Clays Tournament sponsor and highlights expanded Energy Services at annual school facility management conference in Branson.

Control Service Company (CSC) was proud to participate in the 2026 Missouri School Plant Managers Association (MSPMA) Annual Conference in Branson, Missouri, continuing its support of the professionals responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and effective learning environments across the state.

The annual conference brings together school facility managers, maintenance directors, superintendents, industry partners, and vendors for professional development, networking, and discussions about the challenges facing Missouri’s educational facilities. Through educational sessions, certification opportunities, and an expansive tradeshow, the event provides a valuable forum for sharing ideas and exploring solutions that support school operations.

Supporting Education Beyond the Classroom

As a returning sponsor of the conference’s Sporting Clays Tournament, CSC once again helped organize and support one of MSPMA’s Scholarship Sunday events. Working alongside co-sponsor ServiceMaster by Liberty Restoration Group, the CSC team helped coordinate an afternoon of friendly competition, networking, and community engagement.

The tournament is part of MSPMA’s broader scholarship initiatives, which support educational opportunities for the families of association members. For CSC, participating in these events is an opportunity to give back to the school communities and facility professionals the company serves throughout Missouri.

“At Control Service Company, we believe that great business starts with great relationships, and events like MSPMA remind us just how important those relationships are,” shared Sam, a CSC manager who attended the conference.

Beyond the tournament, the conference offered an opportunity to reconnect with longtime school district customers, meet new facility professionals, and strengthen relationships with fellow industry partners.

Bringing Energy Efficiency Into the Conversation

At the conference tradeshow, CSC showcased its comprehensive building automation, HVAC controls, fire and security, and facility support solutions, with a particular emphasis on the company’s expanding Energy Services Division.

Led by Matt Miller and Laura Thompson, CSC’s Energy Services Division focuses on helping building owners and facility teams identify opportunities to reduce energy waste, improve system performance, and make more informed operational decisions.

For school districts managing multiple buildings, aging infrastructure, and limited operating budgets, energy efficiency remains an important consideration. CSC’s Energy Services complement its existing Building Automation System (BAS) offerings, helping districts look beyond equipment installation to evaluate how their facilities operate over time.

The conference provided an opportunity to introduce these expanded capabilities and discuss how data-driven building optimization can support long-term facility performance.

Building Stronger Partnerships for Missouri Schools

Established in 1991, MSPMA is dedicated to advancing school facility management through education, professional development, collaboration, and advocacy. Its annual conference brings together professionals who share a commitment to maintaining learning environments where students, educators, and communities can thrive.

CSC values its ongoing involvement with MSPMA and the opportunity to work alongside professionals who understand the important role facilities play in supporting education.

From sponsoring scholarship events to exchanging ideas about building performance and facility operations, the annual conference reinforces the importance of collaboration across the industry.

CSC extends its appreciation to MSPMA’s leadership, conference organizers, participating school districts, fellow vendors, and event partners for another successful gathering in Branson.

The company looks forward to continuing these conversations and supporting Missouri school districts through reliable building technologies, energy management solutions, and long-term service partnerships.
